In order to ensure that the laser is always in normal working condition, the fiber laser welding machine should first check the components in the optical path such as YAG rod, dielectric film and lens protection glass before starting the machine after two weeks of continuous work or after a period of application. There are no abnormal phenomena such as dust pollution and mildew on the optical components. If the above phenomena occur, they should be dealt with in time to ensure that the optical components will not be damaged under strong laser irradiation.
The purity of the cooling water is the key to ensuring the laser output efficiency and the life of the laser concentrating cavity components. In the application, the conductivity of the internal circulating water should be checked once a week to ensure that its conductivity is 30.5MW•cm. The internal circulating water must be changed once a month. For deionized water, the conductivity of newly injected pure water must be 32MW•cm. Always pay attention to the color change of the ion replacement column in the cooling system. Once the color of the resin in the replacement column changes to dark brown or even black, the resin should be changed immediately.
Equipment operators can often check the laser output spot with black paper. Once spot unevenness or energy drop is found, the laser resonant cavity should be adjusted in time to ensure the beam quality of the laser output. Direct strong laser irradiation can cause severe damage to human skin, especially blinding eyes. Commissioning operators must have knowledge of laser safety protection, and must wear special laser protective glasses for 1.064mm wavelength during work.
Note: When the strong laser is directly irradiated to flammable materials such as wood, an open flame will be generated. During the debugging process, a black metal material with good absorption performance should be placed on the light path of the laser output as a beam terminator to avoid fire accidents. Note: The adjustment of the laser must be carried out by specially trained personnel, otherwise other components on the optical path will be destroyed due to laser misalignment or polarization adjustment. The adjustment steps of the laser resonator are as follows: check that the reference light source red semiconductor laser is the reference of all optical paths, and its correctness must first be ensured. Use a simple height gauge to check whether the red light is parallel to the top surface of the optical bench rail and is on the center line between the two rails of the optical bench. If there is a deviation, it can be adjusted by 6 fastening screws. After adjustment, pay attention to check again whether all fastening screws have been completely tightened.
